ramka

Return Policy

A ramka purchase grants a proprietary software license: the rights described in the Ramka License Agreement for the purchased tier. The software itself is publicly available through the npm registry and may be used under GPL-3.0-only without payment; a purchase grants additional proprietary licensing rights rather than delivering separate software. Nothing physical is shipped.

Our standard policy

Once a paid license has been granted, the purchase is generally non-refundable. That includes a change of mind, unused licenses, and cases where the Licensee later chooses to use ramka under GPL-3.0-only instead.

This standard policy applies subject to the rest of this document. Nothing in it limits any mandatory refund, withdrawal, conformity, or other right you have under applicable law.

Statutory withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer (an individual buying primarily for purposes outside your trade, business, craft, or profession), you may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase under the law of your country.

For consumers in the EU/EEA, a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal generally applies to contracts concluded at a distance, counted from the day the contract is concluded. In Poland this right is set out in the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014. We honor statutory withdrawal rights where they apply, and we do not ask you to waive them.

Where such a right applies:

  • You do not have to give any reason.
  • Withdrawing is free of charge.
  • To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your withdrawal statement before the period expires.

Under Polish law, certain consumer rights, including withdrawal, also extend to an individual entrepreneur who enters into a contract directly related to their business activity when the contract is not of a professional character for them.

How to withdraw

Email artur.bien+ramka@gmail.com with a clear statement that you withdraw from the purchase, together with enough information to identify the transaction, typically the email address used at checkout and the order or receipt details.

You may use the model withdrawal form provided under applicable law, but you do not have to. Wording like this is enough:

I hereby withdraw from my purchase of the ramka [tier] license, ordered on [date] under [checkout email / receipt number]. [name], [date]

We will send you a confirmation that we received your withdrawal statement by email.

Effect of withdrawal

If a statutory withdrawal right applies and you validly exercise it, the purchase contract is treated under applicable law as if it had not been concluded. In that case:

  • We will refund all payments you made without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal statement. The refund uses the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree to a different method that costs you nothing; we process it through Whop, our payment processor, back to the original payment method.
  • The paid proprietary license granted by that purchase is treated as never having taken effect, and you must stop relying on it.
  • This does not affect the public availability of ramka or any rights you independently have under GPL-3.0-only. You may continue using ramka under the GPL, subject to its terms.

Other refunds and reversals

The same license consequences apply if a purchase is refunded for any other reason, rescinded, or reversed, for example through a chargeback. The paid license granted by that purchase terminates, while rights independently available under GPL-3.0-only are unaffected. See the Ramka License Agreement.

Duplicate charges, accidents, and wrong tier

Contact us if:

  • you were charged more than once for the same order
  • you purchased by accident
  • you purchased the wrong license tier (for example Indie instead of Agency)

We will review those requests and, where appropriate, refund, reverse a duplicate charge, or help you move to the correct tier.

Conformity complaints

If you are a consumer and believe what you purchased does not conform to the contract, you have statutory remedies under applicable law; in Poland, under the Consumer Rights Act, which implements Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content. Send complaints to artur.bien+ramka@gmail.com and we will respond as required by law.

We do not currently participate in a voluntary out-of-court consumer dispute resolution scheme. Depending on your country, out-of-court complaint options may still be available to you; in Poland, for example, through municipal consumer ombudsmen or the Trade Inspection.
