This Privacy Policy describes how Artur Bień, operating under the business name Expensive Toys (“we”), collects and uses information in connection with ramka and the website at ramka.dev.

The @ramka/react library itself does not collect personal data from applications that use it. This policy covers the website, commercial licensing, and related support.

Information we collect

Website analytics. We use Vercel Analytics on ramka.dev to understand how the site is used, such as pages visited, referrers, and approximate device or browser information. Vercel describes this product as cookieless and designed not to collect personal information.

Buyer, account, and contact data. If you enquire about or purchase a paid license, or email us for support, we process the information you provide. That typically includes name, company or legal-entity name where applicable, billing email, license tier, and the content of your message. The Ramka License Agreement records the Licensee identity against the order.

Checkout and payment data. Paid license purchases are processed by Whop. Whop collects and processes payment details and checkout information on our behalf. We receive the order information we need to grant and administer the license. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.

Purposes of processing

We process this information to:

• operate, secure, and improve ramka.dev
• measure site usage
• take and fulfil paid license orders
• identify the Licensee and grant the correct license tier
• communicate about orders, licenses, and support
• handle withdrawal requests, refunds, and consumer complaints
• detect fraud, duplicate charges, and misuse
• meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract for orders, licensing, withdrawal, and support (Article 6(1)(b)); compliance with legal obligations for tax, accounting, and consumer-law records (Article 6(1)(c)); and our legitimate interests in securing and improving the site and preventing fraud (Article 6(1)(f)).

Cookies and tracking technologies

ramka.dev does not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies, and does not show a cookie banner because none is needed: Vercel Analytics is designed to operate without cookies, and we set no analytics or marketing identifiers in your browser.

The website may store a theme preference in your browser (for example in local storage) so the interface can stay in light or dark mode. That preference remains on your device.

Whop uses its own cookies and similar technologies on its checkout pages; those are described in Whop’s Privacy Policy.

Third-party processors

We use the following processors:

• Vercel hosts ramka.dev and provides Vercel Analytics. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
• Whop provides checkout and payment processing. See Whop’s Privacy Policy.

Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. They may process data outside your country of residence.

Retention

We keep license and purchase records for as long as needed to provide the perpetual paid license and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Support and enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up.

Analytics data is retained according to the relevant processor’s practices.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a copy in a portable form.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.

To exercise these rights, email artur.bien+ramka@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

Some records, including proof of a paid license grant, may need to be retained even if you ask us to delete other information.

If we update this policy, we will publish the revised text at ramka.dev/privacy.
